Mission Statement The primary mission of the Sooner Tea Party is to Protect, Preserve and Defend the Constitution of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Our objective is to peacefully return our government to its limited and lawful Constitutional role.To achieve this goal, we adhere to the following Principles: · We are non-partisan and welcome persons of all political affiliations who believe in our mission. · We welcome and celebrate the diversity of America as one of our greatest strengths. We welcome members of all races to our organization. · We recognize the Christian-Judeo principles of the founding of our country as a historical fact, but also welcome persons of all religious viewpoints to our organization. · We will strive for and celebrate honesty, in our political leaders, the media, ourselves, our families, and our children. · We recognize the family as the sacred and ultimate governmental unit. Husband and wife are the ultimate authority over their family, not the government. · We recognize that no American is above the law, including all politicians up to and including the President of the United States. · We recognize that the Constitution of the United States, as written and intended by the Founding Fathers, is the law of the land. · We recognize that all Americans are created equal, with a right to life, liberty, property, and the pursuit of happiness with no guarantee of equal results. · We recognize that charity is an individual choice that cannot be forced by government and funded by tax dollars and that the fruits of one's labor belong to the individual who earns them. · We recognize that all governments are the servants of the people. That the federal government is not sovereign. That the individual is sovereign. | ||
